OZtrail Leisure Products have hooked me up with one of their BIKER SWAGS to road test..! I've been using a 3V Oztrail tent for over 10+ years now.. so it will be interesting to see how I go with a swag..!? I do like the idea of rolling my sleeping bag and pillow up in it.. and only having one item instead of 3 to tie down.http://oztrail.com.au/
A great place to start.. if your looking for places to camp.. is to load up the 'WikiCamps' App on to your phone.. and apply the appropriate filters..! I've applied the following filters: *With Free *With Nice Scenery *Without Slippery when wet *With Motorbike Accessible (this might be more dirt bike related). On the listings show, you can also check comments from folks that have previously stayed there.. and get a fair idea of what you might be heading in to.!? So far, I love this app and will be testing it this coming weekend..!
I've kicked this blog off to share my discovery's whilst I do my best to get away from it all as often as possible, hitting the road with the aim to camp on 'free' sites, discover new roads, places & people... doing my best to keep costs down and my 'pack' light & easy..!
I'll update you on my travels, camp stop overs and any products I come across that are worth a mention.
I'm also keen to hear of anyone in regard to ideal places or products that are worth a look in.
